Elementary General Cross Curricular Unit
I created and taught a cross curricular unit for 4th/5th grade using the poem "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" by Robert Frost.
I paired the poem with the song "Sleigh Ride" and the Russian Troika dance.
The goal of the unit is to perform a "Play-formance", where some students are responsible for reading parts of the poem, some are responsible for playing the xylophones, and some are responsible for dancing and singing "Sleigh Ride".
The following documents are 3 consecutive lesson plans from this unit:

Secondary Choir and General Music
I student taught at Bellefonte Area High School and Bellefonte Area Middle School from March 13-April 28, 2017. My co-operating teacher was Mr. Eric Brinser, the choir and theatre director.
At the high school I taught Concert Choir (a non-auditioned 9th-12th grade mixed choir), Chorale (an auditioned 9th-12th grade mixed chamber choir), and three general music classes: Voice Class, Piano Class, and Musical Theatre Class. I was also responsible for being the vocal coach for the high school's spring musical, All Shook Up. As the vocal coach I taught the cast music and gave private vocal lessons to the lead actors.
At the middle school I taught 6th grade choir and 7th/8th grade choir. I taught the 6th grade choir Pete, Pete! by Victor C. Johnson and taught the 7th/8th grade choir Can't Buy Me Love arranged by Kirby Shaw.

Musical Theatre Audition Unit
In the high school Musical Theatre class I taught a unit on how to audition for musicals. The students learned the basics of auditioning, how to determine their character type, and how to pick and cut audition materials. At the end of the unit the students gave a mock audition with the musical theatre song they picked and made an audition cut with. Here is the powerpoint that I created for the unit.

Below is the rubric I used to assess their mock audition and audition cuts.
Voice Class IPA Italian Diction Unit
In the high school Voice Class I taught a unit on the International Phonetic Alphabet and Italian diction. At the end of the unit, the students performed a song in Italian that they picked and wrote an IPA transcription. Here are the IPA and Italian Diction packets I created and taught for this unit.
